This project is a design and construct project containing 138 one, two and three bedroom apartments.
BGC Construction was responsible for preparing a design brief for the project, then taking it through planning approval, building approval, and through the many licensing stages to satisfy Perth City Council requirements.
The development covers the entire footprint of the site, wedged in between three existing office buildings and Adelaide Terrace, and included two levels of underground parking and a level of parking within the adjacent GHD House.
The project has large window areas to receive full benefit from the spectacular views over the river, hills and out to Rottnest. With such large glazed faces, the heat load was significant so BGC designed balconies and other shade devices to protect the windows.
