UWA’s Molecular and Chemical Science building consists of a five storey building with a central atrium plus a basement.
The complete fifth floor and basement consist of a plant room area with further smaller supplementary plant rooms located on the first and third floors.
Ground floor area houses an Electron Spin Resonance Department, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Department an 80 and 40 place seminar room, computer laboratory, chemical storage areas, workshops, administration, crush display and reception areas.
Level one consists of first, second and third year teaching laboratories seminar rooms, computer laboratory and general office areas.
Level two consists of biochemistry research laboratories, Physical Chemistry Department, third year teaching laboratories, second and third year preparation rooms, a seminar room and general office area.
Levels three and four consist of further research and biochemistry laboratories with a staff common room on the third floor and general office areas.
